Let’s build their STEM future
Destination STEM is a NEW dedicated STEM careers website for 13-19-year-olds curious to explore exceptional opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, boost their skills, and hear from industry experts. Powered by STEM Learning, students can feel empowered to pursue careers in STEM. Students can now easily apply to career support programmes such as Online Mentoring, Research Placements & Experiences, or browse information on STEM careers.
Access to our programmes through this new site can help schools and colleges to:
Boost young people’s confidence and enjoyment in STEM
Raise and develop career aspirations
Develop student’s critical transferable skills, such as project management, leadership, communication, and budgeting
"Destination STEM programmes have evidence of increasing GCSE and A level attainment by up to one grade"
This new site has been designed to be used directly by students and teachers as an extension to classroom learning as well as providing an opportunity to contextualise curriculum content. Going forward we will provide monthly updates on new content that will coincide with academic activities to provide a useful tool for students at all points in the academic year.
